Child Safety and CSAE Standards
Jaan has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains our prevention, detection, moderation, and reporting standards.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
Any content or behavior that sexually exploits, endangers, or harms minors is strictly prohibited. We remove violating content, disable associated accounts, preserve evidence as required by law, and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Age Requirements
Jaan is an adults-only platform. Users must be at least 18 years old. Accounts suspected to involve minors are promptly restricted and reviewed. Confirmed underage accounts are removed.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
We prohibit grooming, sexualized conversations involving minors, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), solicitation of minors, trafficking-related exploitation, and any attempt to share or link to exploitative material.
Detection and Moderation
We use a combination of user reporting, moderation workflows, and technical safeguards to identify and act on harmful activity. High risk signals are escalated for priority review.
Reporting CSAE Content
If you encounter suspected CSAE or CSAM on Jaan, contact us immediately at support@jaan.love. Include relevant details so our team can investigate quickly.
Law Enforcement and Hotline Reporting
Where required, we report apparent CSAM and related exploitative conduct to appropriate authorities and designated reporting organizations. We respond to valid legal requests and preserve records consistent with applicable law.
Account Enforcement
Violations of these standards can result in immediate content removal, account suspension, permanent account termination, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
Policy Updates
We may update these standards as laws, platform safeguards, and best practices evolve.
